ARNO ATOLL DIVINGAn hour boat trip to Arno Atoll is the quickest and easiest way to obtain a view of a pristine outer island of the Marshalls. Crossing from Majuro to Arno we often encounter dolphins and whales, blue pelagics and schools of feeding tuna! Arno is the type of island you expect to see when you visit the Pacific, virgin reefs, endless sandy beaches and countless giant palm trees. With copra production being the primary industry, Arno is free from much of the development seen on other atolls. Sharks abound here and are easily photographed. The walls are sheer and adorned with coral and are very close to land. The 3 banded anemone fish, Amphiprion Tricinctus, (endemic to the Marshalls) can often be seen here. At Marshalls Dive Adventures we are still exploring Arno and are returning always amazed- you just never know what you will see ! Ine, Arno, Rubochi and the North West Point are some of the most spectacular spots on the atoll with an average visibility of 100 feet. Arno dive rates: (weather permitting) 2 tank boat dive $110 For information on wholesalers that sell our package, please go to our Tour Wholesalers page. [photo©Matt Harris]
